Co-operative education is a perfect opportunity to assist students entering the workforce in making educational and career related decisions.

The purpose is to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to meet success in the Canadian workplace and to obtain valuable work experience to help achieve their career goals. Students normally understake a semestered co-operative education program. They divide their time between school and the workplace, spending at least half the day with the employer. School credits are awarded for successful on-the-job experience after a joint evaluation by the employer and the teacher.
